1. What do you do on Test server? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
When I logged on I see that my same characters are there. Does what I do with them on Test effect them just the same as on Tranq? (If I lose my BS to pirate attacks, it's gone, the same as if I had been playing on Tranq?)

2. What do you do on Test server? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Hi all. What's the point of the test server? What are the rules there, or rather, what can you do there that you can't on Tranq?

4. The Jove grid? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Max Sterling on 28/09/2003 16:18:46 At my farthest from a star (during a funny bug + CTD during warping a while back) I was 172 au away from the sun. At 3000m/s that's a little less than 16,000 hours, or about 2 years just to get ba...

5. Giant Cargo Container - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Yup, the cargo containers are always going to give you about a 30% bonus to the space they take up. Ex: The giant containers take up 3000 cargo and give you 3900 cargo, a bonus of 900 or +30%. That should help give you an idea of which is the corr...

6. Giant Secure Container - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Nope, actually the 490 capacity is a screw-up. It's not supposed to be there. The containers add about 30% to their cargo space, so the giant ones take up 3000 cargo (you'll obviously need an indy) and they actually give you 3900 cargo room, a bon...

7. Anchoring Skill - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I remember problems before with being able to actually lock the giant secure containers. Does the anchoring skill fix this, are the giant and huge containers working the way they should now?

8. My security status just stays at 0.0 - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Ah the good old days... I remember when the game first came out, you gained tones of security status bonus per kill. (I guess it was too easy to be "evil" and then kill a few pirates to gain back your lost sec status, that's why they made the posi...

10. New Anchoring Skill an Giant/Huge Secure Containers? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
(Sorry, haven't had a chance to try the skill ingame yet. Flame me if you wish.) Hi all. Now that the anchoring skill can be used to lock items (like containers) in place it space, does it simply anchor it there so nobody can take it, but still l...

11. Prepairing for first trip to 0.0... suggestions? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
For the most part I'm able to handle myself against many things. But how do you defend against warp scramblers? Is there any way at least to raise your resistance (does it have to do with a specific skill set) or is it as simple as, if the bad guy...

12. Prepairing for first trip to 0.0... suggestions? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Wow. It sounds like there is a LOT of 0.0 space that is "controlled" by player corps. How does a person like me, with little experience out in the outer regions, know what systems and areas are controlled? Is ignorance a defense ("No please, Sir, ...

14. Prepairing for first trip to 0.0... suggestions? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Max Sterling on 12/09/2003 18:22:13 Hi all. I have a relatively high level character (about 2.8 million skill points), but I'm a bit of a chicken _ _ _ _. I don't really have much interest in pvp, but I do want to go off in search o...

18. Best ways 2 make fast isk? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Phoibos definitely has the right idea. When I'm at the computer and actively mining I use my vexor so I have the most cargo I can (930 cargo), 4 mining lasers and drones to defend me. But when I go to work, or head off to bed, I jump into my besto...
